IBS Angel™ – Absorbable Scaffold

lBS Angel™ lron Bioresorbable Scaffold is made of a nitrided pure iron backbone treated with laser cutting. The product is a drug-free, absorbable pure metal scaffold.

As an absorbable stent, the lBS Angel™ can degrade while maintaining its mechanical properties in a period of about 2 years, which is much longer than the degradation period of other BRS. The scaffold can make the blood vessels tave a higher patency rate and significantly reduce the possibility of restenosis or vascular collapse. At the same time, its degradation products have been verified by multiple parties many times that they will not cause biological toxicity and can be reimplanted.

Made from a nitrided iron tube with excellent mechanical properties(radial strength), which can provide effective support for blood vessels.

Re-intervention

Compared with permanent stents, the lBS Angel™ scaffold is degradable, and re-intervention is feasible in the same position without causing harm or adding burden to the blood vessels or the human body.

Degradation

The degradation period is about 2-3 years. lt provides effective support for as the infant growth. The scaffold starts to degrade around 3 months after implantation when the blood vessel recovers. The scaffold will be absorbed by the body 2 years after implantation.

Indication

Improving the lumen diameter of the pulmonary blood vessels of newborns and infants requiring stent treatment

  • Right Ventricle Outflow Tract (RVOT)
  • Pulmonary trunk
  • Branch pulmonary artery

  • Ductus arteriosus
